So the Girls (Celeste and Sarah) and I set off from San Francisco in the afternoon, on our way to EarthDance 2011, Northern Cali style~ We stopped on the way at Treasure Island, in between SF and Oakland, to see Bliss Dance. She is a giant sculpture of a dancing woman who made her debut at Burning Man 2010~ What a spectacular view it is of her and San Francisco in the background~ How fitting as burning Man was first celebrated on Baker’s Beach, San Francisco.

We arrived at EarthDance and met up with our great friends from South Florida. I was super great to have us all there across the nation together~ and to have a hang out spot at our friends booth LightUpWire.com. Too much blinkie fun!

Live, interactive artwork and costumes. Faerie parades an giant puppet shows, this festival was not just for big kids. It is always fun floating between the two worlds, inspired by the energy of the kids and the wisdom of the elders… EarthDance was rich in both.
